- Forms potentially explosive mixtures with water

- generates toxic gases, vapors or fumes when mixed with water

- contains cyanide or sulfide and generates toxic gases, vapors or fumes

- capable of detonation if heated under confinement

- capable of detonation at std. Temp and Pr. 

- Is listed by DOT as a Class A or Class B explosive
