The phrase cosmetics are taken from the Greek word Kosmetikos. The meaning of this is decorating. Beautifying or enhancing complexion of skin. In middle asia from the ancient times Henna has been employed to decorate hands and few other parts of the body. Some of the cosmetics that find make use in daily life are illustrated below,

(1) Creams

(a) Cleansing creams

(b) Cold creams

(c) Vanishing creams

(d) Sunburn creams

(e) Bleach cream
