Briefly explain about alloys, Chemistry

Assignment Help:

Q. Briefly explain about Alloys?

Ans.

Pure metals are malleable. Metals that are harder, stronger and less malleable are sometimes required. These characteristics may be achieved by alloying.

Alloys are made by mixing two or more metals in the molten state and then allowing the mixture to solidify. Some alloys are solid solutions, which means that they are homogeneous mixtures of different metals.
