Area-Subdivision method

This method is a type of an image-space method although uses object-space operations re-ordering or sorting of surfaces as per to depth. Area sub-division method takes advantage of area-coherence in a scene via locating those view areas which represent part of a particular surface. In Area-sub-division method we successively subdivide the whole viewing as screen area, frequently a rectangular window, in small rectangles till each minute area is the projection of part of a particular visible surface or no surface at all.
