Arboriculture: It deals with the cultivation of ornamental plants. Arboriculture is the cultivation, management or study of individual shrubs, trees, vines, or other perennial woody plants. It is both a science and a practice. In arboriculture science we study how these plants grow & respond to cultural practices or to their environment. Aarboriculture science includes cultural techniques like as planting, selection, fertilization, training, pest or pathogen control, pruning, removal or shaping.
Legal issues, Risk management or aesthetic considerations plays a prominent role in the practice of arboriculture. Arboriculture science is primarily focused on special woody plants or trees maintained for permanent amenity or landscape purpose generally in parks, gardens and other populated settings by arborists, for their protection, enjoyment or benefit of human beings.
