Due to the advent of computers and software faculties. Presently computers are used to design the facility layout. Digital computers are widely used to aid in efficient layout of manufacturing facilities some of the methods to arrive at a better layout by suing computers are briefly discussed below:

Computerized Relative Allocation of Facilities Technique
