3-phase  Bridge Inverter

In 3-phase bridge inverter six thyristors an six diodes are used as shown in figure  a capacitor at input terminal is connected so that the input voltage remains constant. Let  the load  is 3-phase resistive load and it is star connected. According  to pattern of gating the thyristor 3-phase inverter is of two type 3-phase 1800 mode VSI  and 2-phase 1200 mode VSI.
