Justification/Recommendation Report and PAIBOC Analysis

  • You will write a Justification/Recommendation Report that is in an email format to your supervisor. Your client is likely to be agreeable so use the organizational pattern you think will be the most convincing and appropriate.
  • Refer to the Direct/Indirect report templates following the rubric to determine which is most appropriate and to help to guide the structure of your report.
  • Use at least two references and two in-text citations as evidence to support your recommendation.
  • In a justification/recommendation report, you analyze a problem, discuss options, and present a recommendation, solution, or action to be taken.

Scenario: You are an Educational Consultant for CDE Education that has been hired by Brown College to help determine the best way to deliver classes next semester: in-person classes or online classes.

Your client, Maria Alice has asked you to draft a justification/recommendation report to recommend whether all classes next term should be delivered in-person or online. You must select one or the other. 

In your report, you must include at least three benefits (pros) and one drawbacks (cons) to support your recommendation.
