Assignment: Make a essay about main four or five criteria YOU think makes a human, well, human. The four traits you are using should be defined in detail. For example, don't just say, "big brains." You would have to tell me exactly how big that is and why you think that's important. This should be one very long paragraph to give you an idea of how much explanation you should be including.

To me, most of what makes a human human would be due to increased brain size and evolutionary changes. The ability to speak is one, and to actually have specific names and words for objects and feelings, etc. The independency from canines and wisdom teeth is another, and even more so the evolution of not even being born with them. Bipedalism as well. Although apes have the ability to walk on two feet when taught or imitating, that's not how they biologically are meant to operate. And the last interpretation for me would be culture. Humans alone have created things like religion and tradition, and even societal cultural aspects like stereotypes and morals. In order to create belief systems and think critically in order to form opinions about complex ideas, you need to have a human brain. This is your opinion, you can even list "philosophical" type things... you just have to tell us why you think each one you pick is something that is vital in setting us a part from the other apes.
