What would a good response to this post be? I work on the administrative side of the medical field. I use math for payroll purposes, incentive percentages, merit increases and budgeting. There is also the fun side of purchasing and inventory. Once in a while I assist with Medication Management. I deal with medication dosages, and interpreting BMI for the nurse practitioner. A basic understanding of math is definitely a necessity for all aspects of the medical field.
