Question: Farmer and Landowner entered into a written, signed contract whereby Farmer agreed to harvest 50 acres of corn on Landowner's land for $5,000. A couple of days later, Farmer and Landowner entered into an oral agreement by which Farmer promised to also harvest ten acres of squash, and Landowner promised to pay an additional $1,000. Farmer refuses to harvest the squash and the matter goes to court. Will the court hear evidence of farmer's promise to harvest the squash?
