1. In Canada, which federal act or law regulates the creation of corporations? Provide a definition of a corporation using your own words.

If a company has similar rights to a person, then shouldn't a cigarette company be allowed to advertise their products within reason (i.e. not to kids, not around schools, but adult orientated magazines, late night tv shows). Focus on equality under the law and not the morality of smoking cigarettes.

3. Provide a definition of Board of Directors using your own words? How does it relate to the management of the company? What are inside directors and outside directors? Which is better to have for a public company? Fully explain. Include a hand-made drawing if necessary.

8. Research a large well-known Canadian public company, such as Bell Canada, and provide the following information and answer any questions.

a. Full legal name of the corporation - show proof
