  2. A technologist received a urine culture which he processed and incubated. After 24 hours, he observed growth. There were possible 70,000 Corynebacterium diphtheroid, 80,000 staph aureus and 60,000 Enterococcus faecalis. How would this be reported and which are considered further workup pathogens?
  3. A sputum culture was received by a technologist. Few Haemophilus influenzae grew with moderate Enterococcus faecalis and Staph epidermidis on a 65-year-old woman. Are there any pathogens present or is this reported as normal flora?
