According to your organisational procedures: - When working with clients at imminent/high risk, workers must immediately report to the supervisor on-duty. Emergency services and relevant specialist support must be contacted. Workers are expected to support respective client to make contact if they wish to and are capable of doing so; or workers must explain their duty clearly and make the contact on behalf of the client. - In the context of client being suicidal, the client must never be left alone. - Where emergency or specialist support are not required, workers are expected to support clients in developing appropriate safety strategies (e.g., safety planning; de-escalation procedures) to address risk issues identified.
