Please address a discussion post about your response to these videos and what you think about the impact of social media on body image and eating disorders. You are welcome to post any of your thoughts, feelings, or reactions, but some here are some questions to consider:
1. What level of responsibility do companies like instagram have with monitoring their content with regards to how it impacts adolescents? Should such monitoring be done at all, and who should be responsible - the companies themselves, the government, parents? All of the above?
2. As social media continues to evolve, what new challenges or solutions do you foresee in addressing its impact on body image and eating disorders?
3. Do you believe the societal shift toward body positivity and inclusivity is effectively countering the negative effects of media on eating disorders, or is more action needed?
4. What other concerns do you have or creative solutions can you think of to address these issues?
