Liability Case - Davis vs. Monroe County Board of Education (Georgia - 1999)

Teachers were aware that a 5th grade girl was being physically and verbally harassed by a classmate. The student and her parents repeatedly reported it to the school, but the harassment continued. The family filed a lawsuit, and 6 years later the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that the school failed to act accordingly to protect this female student.
