Question: Hardeep has just completed his first year as a Call Center Manager. He is a good performer, but occasionally has problems dealing with people. He supervises six people, most of whom were his peers. One of his employees, Ravi, is a college student. Ravi is competent and friendly, but works at a very relaxed pace and his low productivity. Hardeep has done little about this because he had no clear-cut idea about how to manage Ravi. In fact, Hardeep has found the situation embarrassing because, although he likes supervising, he hates dealing with problems like Ravi's lack of productivity.
