Albertsons is a huge grocery and drug company. Its number of employees exceeds two-thousand. The Company experienced unprecedented growth in the early years. Now it is facing stiff competition from giants like Wal-Mart. To hold their market share and control costs, Albertsons has had to focus on improving customer service, the supply chain and logistics. Recently a number of key persons quit the company unexpectedly. The shocking blows forced the company to pay attention to its employee needs. Preliminary investigations showed simmering employee discontent and frustration.
