Problem
Your problem is to consider your role as an HR professional and your responsibility for using information contained in an HRIS program, appropriately. We will continue to learn about the depth and breadth of information stored in a human resource information system, but for now, answers the following questions:
Question I. As an HR person, you will have a great deal of personal information on many (or all) employees. In terms of maintaining confidentiality, what challenges do you foresee with coworkers, managers, owners who are asking for information from you? How will you decide what can and cannot be shared? What resources will you use to make those decisions?
