Choose a social norm to violate and reflect of the experience, both before and after the violation takes place. **The norm you choose to violate should be a minor one. It should NOT involve breaking any laws or cause harm to anyone. BEFORE you do the norm violation, answer the first three questions. AFTER the norm violation, answer the last three questions. The questions are below:

1. What norm are you going to violate? Where will you violate it? What will you do?

2. How do you think people will react to what you are planning to do?

3. How do you think you will react to what you are planning to do?

After Questions:

4. Describe what happened when you actually violated the norm. What took place? Who was present? When and where were you?

5. How did you react to doing the norm violation? Were you surprised by your reactions? What do you think you reacted the way that you did?

6. What did other people do? Were you surprised by any of their reactions? Explain.
