I think it is important to consider the ethics behind allowing employees who are the revenue stream of the organization to be able to engage in less-than-desirable behaviors with no consequences. This can be bad for morale all the way around. Worse yet, what message does it send to the rest of the organization and the customers in the event they experience it?
