Prepare a 1.600-word paper in a case study format. Select an organisation on which you will base your case study. Adhere to the following format while preparing the case study.

a) Identify the background and traditional mode of operation of your chosen organisation.
o What is the mission statement of the organisation?
o What is the size of organisation?
o How many employees do they have?

b) Analyse the external environment surrounding the organisation
o What industry/field the organisation is operating in?
o What type of economic and competition situation the organisation is faced with?

c) Explain the type of technology the company uses to support its HRM function and overall operations.
o How the orgnaisation's preferred technology helps the company to achieve its strategic goals and supports its FIRM practices

d) Applying a critical thinking perspective comment on the existing situation of the organisation and their choice of technology.
o What type of competitive advantage the selected technology is providing within organization?
o Limitations of the implemented technology
o Barriers caused by organisation's preferred technology to its potential growth

e) Based on the information presented in the case study propose suggestions (both short and long term) to improve the company's existing business activities and HRM practices through the use of technology.

Provide concluding remarks about the case study.

Paper Requirements
- The paper must include a title page. abstract, introduction, multiple supporting body paragraphs, conclusion and list of references.
- Students must use a minimum of 7 references. All references must come from peer-reviewed academic journals (FDU University Library): additional references may be from tradc and practitioner publications or online search engines.
- Students must use APA format when citing literature.
- Students are encouraged to use Safe-Assign to avoid plagiarism. If plagiarism is identified in the paper they will receive a zero for the assignment.
- Do not exceed the word-limit. Although as a general rule -10% of the world limit is acceptable. Abstract and list of reference does not count towards the word limit.
