A particle enters a 20 meter long rectangular settling tank an travels with the flow at a horizontal velocity of 0.09 meters per second. If the tank is 2 meters deep and the particle enters the tank at the surface of the water, what is the longest amount of time that the particle can take to settle, if it is to be removed?
