What is a nursing hackathon? It is when a group of nurses come together and identify a gap or problem in healthcare, research, explain a pitch, gather a tribe that is passionate about that topic and then present that topic to the rest of the group. When you are in clinical ask the staff what is the biggest challenge they face? Ask your family and friends who have been involved in the health care system what the biggest challenge they face? This week you will identify a gap and share it with your peers. Over the next few weeks you will form groups of 3-4 of your choice. That will be your hackthon group.

What is the gap that you feel is the biggest concern in health care that needs to be fixed?
