Scenario: You are a human resources consultant for an organization, Kirton Spirits Inc. You have worked at the organization for two years. The organization is located in Milton, Ontario and not unionized.

There 100 employees located at the production location. Generally, you assist with HR support for managers. The HR Manager has asked you to look at the following issues and provide advice.

Wing worked for Kirton Spirits for the last eight years. When he began working at the organization he signed a fixed contract for one year. You have reviewed personnel records and cannot find any additional contracts. Wing's manager informed you that he is not certain Wing ever signed a new contract.

Mandy has worked for the organization for three years. Recently, there were some changes in the organization's operations. As a result, the employer no longer needs her to conduct her current role. Instead, her manager informed you that the department requires her to act in more of a supportive role. They suggest that her salary would be $18,000 less per year.

Mohammed has worked for the organization for 9 months. An administrator realized that the contract was not signed.
