A. The andragogy theory presents 6 principles of adult learning: adults learn from experience, adults are self-directed learners, adults seek relevance in their learning, adults are ready to learn, adults are engaged by solving problems and implementing solutions, and adults' motivations to learn are based on internal needs. These six principles are the foundation for designing instruction and training within adult education.

In your own words, describe why it is important for the adult learner to make a connection between theory and practice.
