As an independent consultant, you have just received a large contract from Rainbow Paint Company to review their various manufacturing protocols and processes, starting with incoming raw materials (procurement), to paint development and processing, to customer deliveries. Rainbow wants you to assess and evaluate all aspects of their company, and help them improve their total efficiency that will help to boost their “bottom line.”

Due to the size of this company, the project is expected to take approximately one year. Rainbow is especially interested in the various quality protocols you will use. Their top management have heard a lot about “quality,” but they know very little about the various quality topics. They have asked you to give them a brief overview of the following quality topics:

Cause-and-Effect Analysis

Put together a brief presentation on each of these quality concepts, to include graphs or diagrams if appropriate, and discuss as a “trial presentation” to Rainbow Paint Company’s top management.
