Please post a response of atleast 300words to the below statement

After watching this video, I believe that unethical business practices degrade the quality of the experience a customer has with a service or a product by them understanding and knowing what has to happen in order for this product or service to be available to them. They see that child labor is a huge problem in foreign countries, which is where most of the things that we enjoy come from. They also see that people and children are forced to work in harsh and disgusting working conditions. There are so many other things that go on that we probably do not even know about and just the things we do know alone make people sick to their stomachs. This is because they know that things like this would never be accepted in the United States of America, nor should they be accepted anywhere else. This causes people to not want to support businesses who do business with people who are forcing these people and children to work like this and in these conditions. The international organization for standardization is trying to encourage ethical business behavior by encouraging multinational companies to put codes of conduct in their contracts, these stipulations declaring that child labor, forced labor, and poor working conditions will not be tolerated. This causes the factories in the foreign lands that are producing for the multinational companies to think twice before doing these things for fear of losing a huge contract that could potentially keep them in business or shut their doors. On top of this the multinational companies will provide the names of the companies that are doing their labor in foreign countries and randomly and without notice inspectors will be sent to check the standards of the working conditions and publish these findings publicly. This will ensure that companies are using good factories and that factories are obeying their contracts with these multinational companies. This will ensure multinational companies are doing right thing for fear of losing customers and the factories will not participate in unfair labor standards for fear of being exposed.

The only experience that I can think of would be after seeing a note that a child had written and put in a pair of shoes that were made in a sweatshop. After reading about the conditions and the cry for help it was very hard to shop in that store ever again because I knew at that point that the company was using a factory in a foreign country that forced child labor and harsh labor conditions.

A corporation that I have quit purchasing from due to the fact that they were practicing unfair business practices is Wal-Mart. I have seen time and time again that they are using factories that employ child labor and harsh working conditions. I used to shop there all the time, it's a one stop shop for everything I need. However, after haring repeatedly the stuff that is going on with labor standards in the foreign countries and the fact that they are partializing in this. I no longer support them in anyway.

Some corporations that are good stewards of ethical business practices on a global scale are Adidas and Fruit of the Loom. I know this because they are identifying themselves as good stewards by joining the FLA, which is a voluntary commitment, which is a code of conduct that they agree to follow when it comes to their labor standards. By doing this they agree to being committed to ensuring fair labor practices and safe and humane working conditions throughout their supply chain. The FLA also conducts independent assessments of a random sample of these factories that multinationals companies use. This is not just something that a company can sign up for and not expect to have to follow up with. This is an everyday task that these companies must be consciously dealing with.
