For the following unbalanced reaction: CO(g) + O2CO2(g)

a) Balance the equation.

b) At 30 degrees celcius, the equilibrium concentrations are [CO2] = 0.15M, [O2] = 0.021M, and [CO] = 0.032M. What is the value of the equilibrium constant?

c) Given that ΔG = -RTln(K), calculate ΔG for the reaction.

d) Does the reaction proceed spontaneously in the forward direction?
