Recently the FDA approved a new blood test that could be used to diagnose fibromyalgia. Before the blood test was approved, it had been very difficult to diagnose this condition. The lab at General Hospital has noticed that the request for this test have increased over the past six months and they have had a difficult time keeping the supplies in house required to complete the test. They would like to develop a way to forecast the demand for this test at least a week in advance so that they can include the needed materials for the test in their weekly supply order.
