DVB-T or Digital Video Broadcast - Terrestrial is the most widely used digital television standard in for ter- restrial television transmissions. The modulation scheme in DVB-T is OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Divi- sion Multiplex). DVB-T is used in Europe, largest part of Asia, Australia and Africa.

Selecting the suitable DVB-T modes (modulation, channel bandwidth, FFT size, code rate and guard interval) will be carried out to achieve the best approach for the FVB-T system. This will be done in several steps by using superposition method. Firstly, by studying the effect of changing each parameter individually then combines all the results:

1.       The effect of increasing the channel bandwidth

2.       2. The effect of increasing the FFT size (the channel carriers)

3.       3. The effect of increasing the Guard interval size

4.       4. The effect of changing the error code rate

5.       The proposed parameters to achieve the best perform ance for DVB-T system
