You are undertaking an initial assessment of a client who has been referred in relation to employment assessment. You know that the client has been out of work for over 12 months. His appearance is dishevelled. He has not shaved and his clothes are dirty. He smells like he has not had a shower in a month. The trainee who is working with you takes one look at him and says to you "Well he has not got a hope of getting a job - look at him, he does not even want to work he is just a dole bludger - I do not know why we bother".
