Practice time management through this timekeeping exercise. Keep a record of everything you do during the day on any 2 days of this week, in 10-minute increments. Remember that in law practice, most paralegals (and attorneys) keep timekeeping records of their workdays, recording time based on either six or ten minute increments. Make sure that every time entry you make sufficiently details not only your time spent but also the matter on which you spent it—similar to the way a paralegal records time spent, client names, matters, and task descriptions on paralegal timekeeping records. Turn in your “timesheets” for grading.
