The resident underwent an X-ray, and the results were returned to us. Our nurse has faxed the report to Dr. Taeger, and we are currently awaiting their recommendations. During my shift, the resident's vital signs were as follows: blood pressure was 146/88 mmHg, body temperature was 97.7°F, oxygen saturation was 92% on room air, and respiratory rate was 16 breaths per minute. There was noted wheezing on expiration upon auscultation of the lungs. The resident is alert but oriented only to herself. We are waiting for Dr. Taeger to review the X-ray and provide further recommendations.
