Alaska and Hawaii are not included as gas prices there are much higher than continental US. Price of gasoline in eleven western states of US on same day is given below. Test hypothesis that average price of gasoline in western states is higher than national average for Continental USA and the District of Columbia, i.e., higher than $3.74. Utilize level of significance a = 0.05.
