Does familiarity with assessment increase test scores? We identify 11 5th grade students to take an assessment that they haven't experienced before. Six of these students were selected at random and before taking the assessment, they are provided with an overview. The remaining 5 were not given the overview. Here are the scores for students in each group:
Overview provided: 20, 18, 14, 22, 16, 16
No overview: 11, 15, 16, 13, 9
