• Definition of sociology.

• Taking the topic of marriage, why do we have it (assuming that if it didn't serve a purpose we would no longer have marriage in our society) from a structural-functional, a social-conflict, and a symbolic-interaction approach. It's not so much if you agree or disagree with the concept of marriage but what does all three theories say is the reason came to be a "thing" and why it is still a "thing"
