Think of two variables that could be measured in college-age students like yourself that you believe are strongly positively correlated. Don't use textbook examples or something you find on the internet-but think about some measurable attributes that you think differ among individuals, can be measured on some continuous measurement scale, and that you think move in the same direction. List the variables below and describe in words what you predict the relationship between them to be. Do you believe that there MIGHT be a causal relationship between them? If so, describe that in causal terms. If not, do you think there might be a third variable (or fourth) that might help explain the fact that as one variable increases, so does the other?
