There are two suggested strategies to improve staff performance and interprofessional collaborations to better the mobile clinic. Communication is key within the interprofessional team and within the organization. The ability to communicate effectively provides optimum patient care and satisfaction (Busari, et al., 2017). The first is having weekly huddle sessions with staff and monthly meetings to discuss issues or concerns that staff or patients are having to address and make changes. During the monthly meetings, discuss personal and professional winsfor the group. The second strategy is to make monthly rounds on the local endocrine clinics, health departments and other facilities that can be a part of the interprofessional team. Open communication will aid the support and guidance needed to better serve our community and specific patient.
