In a prevalence study of spousal migration and abnormal cervical cytology, 497 women in Eastern Nepal were surveyed for their spousal migration status and tested abnormal cervical cytology in 2014. Of the women surveyed, 393 reported that their husbands had not migrated for employment, while 104 reported that their husband had migrated out of the country for employment.
