They found that in one year then had 5 infections spread, and in the year since implementing the UV light, 0 infections have spread. Using qualitative research to measure non-numeric variables, a qualitative study might be performed on the same topic (Ambrose et al., 2022). You can survey the nursing staff on what they view to be the most common breaches of infection control principles, and this would be considered qualitative.
