Today’s hotel customers are more aware of their requirements and personal needs. Therefore, they expect hotel owners or managers to acknowledge their individual needs, and expectations. Hospitality marketing is one of the most segmented. There is a wide spectrum of different accommodations from motels to luxury hotels and Spas. Do you think hotel companies have segmented the market too much and confused customers? Should hotels keep shifting from hotel product marketing to niche targeting? Why or why not?
