MacOSX requires the installation of the brew package management system after installing the MacOSX Command Line Tools.
Using a distribution of your choice install (if necessary) the Lynis auditing tool on your system, run, and examine the results in the log file that is created. The location of the file is shown when the tool completes its audit.
