In a randomly controlled trial conducted with children suffering from croup, 46 randomly selected children were treated with ow humidity while another group of randomly selected children were treated with high humidity. Using a Wesley Croup test score, the low humidity group had a mean score of 0.98 with a standard deviation of 122, while the high humidity group had a mean score of 1.09 with a standard deviation of 1.11. The claim hypotheses at the 0.05 level to test the claim.
