  • Detailed study and literature review of diaphragm and mercury cell technologies currently in use, deriving their faults and diagnosis methods
  • Analysis of chlor-alkali membrane technologies in the scholarly level with key concentrations on optimization and performance improvement strategies
  • Design of a model Chlor-alkali membrane cell, simulation of the model in suitable computer platform
  • Acquisition of components (cathodes, anodes, membranes and electrolyzers) and materials required in setting up the facility.
  • Construction of the prototype membrane technology cell, experimentation and characterization of the performance parameters
