Could someone review my answer for this ER database modeling question and provide feedback. Please include ER diagram in response. Thanks!

1. In a manufacturing company, a department need not have designated manager; but every manager has a department assigned. Department can have a maximum of one manager and a manager can have a maximum of one department. Manager's attributes are name, salary, certification and startdate. Departments have name, costcenter, capacity in units/perhour, and last year profit/cost ratio as attributes. How many tables would you need and what columns would you keep in those tables?

Number of Tables: 1

There is a one-to-one (1:1) recursive relationship between managers and departments. Therefore, we only need 1 table: Managers. The deptName column in the Managers table contains the department the manager is assigned to and would be the only column I would add from the departments attributes. The Primary Key (PK) of the Manager's table (name) is also posted as its Foreign Key (FK)
