• Build a searching interface that has term form to browse RNA/DNA sequence/FASTA sequence
• You will use:
• UNIX OS and filesystem - to manipulate Python/ CGI scripts and CGI/ HTML templates and run scripts, templates, and forms at the command line
• Placement/organization of files within a web application- to load java script and CSS for the interface
• Python CGI programming - to download the required source data databases
• CGI and HTML templates
• HTML5 document markup -
• Relational database schema design
• MySQL
• mysql.connector python module - to connect to MySQL
• Limited page styling with CSS - for setting how HTML elements will be displayed on the browser
• Javascript and JQuery - for client-side interaction
• This will be built in an iterative fashion i.e. you will add some parts, then change them, then replace them completely with other methods.
• The principles of content separation should be employed,

• A database needs to be utilized here,
• don't do things like print HTML directly within your CGI scripts,
• and don't embed Javascript and style information into your HTML files,

It is Building analysis tool on the server using data sources = rRNA databases

You will do:
1- download the source data,
2- create a data model for it in your database
3- parse and
4- load the source files into it, then
5- create an interface that allows the user to interrogate it ( Please enter RNA/DNA/FASTA sequence) in the search box
1- perform an analysis on the server.
2- enter a sequence in a form element
3- your code will do an analysis for the entered sequence using the rRNA databases you previously downloaded
4- to give back results as the example in the attached word document
5- report the results for the entered RNA/DNA/FASTA sequence
6- The execution of this tool should runs relatively quickly and display the elapsed time while the client searching for a sequence
7- take the plain text output of a tool and make it visually more pleasing i.e. use CSS
8- better summarized i.e. use table
