1. Reflect on any incentive programs your current or past employer(s) have had. Did the program discourage reporting of workplace injuries and accidents? Discuss and provide examples to support your answer.

2. Reflect on if you were a safety manager. How would you respond to the overlap in OSHA standards and local or state building, electrical, and life safety codes? Explain.

3. Reflect on a time when you, or someone you know, had an encounter with a hazardous energy source within the workplace. What (if anything) was done to mitigate injury from these sources? Do you feel more could or should have been done? Explain.

4. Think about a confined space within your workplace. Have there been any accidents that have occurred there? If so, were they fatal? Were multiple people involved? Reflect on some ways to mitigate these incidents surrounding fatalities within confined spaces.

5. Reflect on a repetitive stress disorder(s) within your workplace. Do you feel Congress's overturning of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's (OSHA) rules to protect employees against these disorders was the right thing to do? Explain your answer/reasoning.

6. Virtually everyone has experienced a time at work when they were made to feel uncomfortable in some way. Looking back at that experience and taking what you have learned from this course, how might you have approached or reacted to the situation differently? Do you feel you are now more equipped to mitigate or respond to a similar situation if it were to present itself again? Why, or why not?
