The provider prescribes phenobarbital 400 mg VI bolus stat, then 200 mg VI bolus every 20 min until seizure activity stops, maximum 2 g. Available is phenobarbital injection 130 mg/mL. How many mL should the nurse administer per dose after theinitial dose?
