A 65 year-old male previously tested positive for Covid-19 via rapid antigen test on October 1, 2020 at Primary Care Physician's Office. On October 16, 2020, patient presents to the Emergency Department with increased shortness of breath, trouble breathing, and was subsequently admitted for Covid-19 related acute hypoxic respiratory failure. A Covid-19 antibody test was ordered upon admission, (SARS COV-2 IgG), which returned positive. Treatment included supplemental oxygen, IV steroids and prophylactic antibiotics. Final Discharge Diagnoses were Covid-19, acute hypoxic respiratory failure. The facility reported U07.1, J96.01.
